What were the main destinations for your trip to Chile?
I flew direct from London Heathrow to Santiago and was lucky enough to fly Business Class which was a lovely treat.

Was this your first visit to Chile or a repeat trip?
First time, so I was excited to finally see these places first-hand.

What was your favourite location?
I struggled to choose a favourite location as they were all amazing, but if I had to then I would say Patagonia. It’s just stunning – wide-open spaces and epic landscapes and the mountain ranges blow your mind, they are much bigger than you imagine.

What was the most memorable moment?
I have two that were equally as memorable: watching the sunrise over the Moai statues on Easter Island was a really beautiful moment, and watching the sunrise over the Moon Valley in the Atacama Desert was incredible – cold, but incredible! Seeing the salt mountains change colour as the sun rose over the Andes is really something pretty special.

What was the best excursion or experience on your holiday to Chile?
Horse riding through the vineyards of the Central Valley region and then straight onto an amazing wine-tasting experience.

What do you recommend packing or prepping for a trip to Chile?
Make sure you pack for all seasons! You can go from hot weather in the north and central regions to the cold and ice of Patagonia in the South.

What was your favourite food or drink on the trip?
The wine in the Central Valley was lovely. My favourite was a Pinot Noir from Matetic Vineyards. My best meal was in Patagonia, the lamb was absolutely gorgeous – so tender and tasty.
