See tango in Buenos Aires

You can't visit Buenos Aires without seeing some tango! Buenos Aires is the birthplace of the dance and it is in the blood of the locals. We recommend seeing a tango show at which you can enjoy a sumptuous 3 course dinner before seeing a spectacular performance of this tantalising dance.

Take a helicopter over Iguazu

There are few more impressive sights than the view from a helicopter over Iguazú Falls. See the amazing horseshoe of cascades from the sky with the surrounding jungle forming a verdant backdrop. It is truly a fantastic experience that will make your visit here extra special!

It's a once in lifetime experience >

Eat steak

Steak

Argentina is famous for steak and rightly so. Whether it's from a local parilla or a top-end restaurant, we highly recommend giving the national cuisine a try. Don't forget to ask for some chimichurri, a delicious Argentine sauce, to accompany the meat.

Horse ride with gauchos

Argentina is famous for gauchos - Argentinian cowboys. Horse riding is part of their heritage and there are few better places to ride. Whether you are a complete beginner giving it a go or a seasoned rider, hacking out with the gauchos is a unique and special experience.

Go Walking in Patagonia

The south of Argentina boasts some of the country's most dramatic mountains and landscapes. It's a walker's paradise and we highly recommend heading south to experience this breathtaking scenery for yourself. You will find walking for all capabilities in Patagonia and incredible views to reward your efforts.

Buenos Aires

In our opinion, Buenos Aires is one of the greatest cities in South America, known for its superb architecture, wide boulevards, endless attractions and a cosmopolitan atmosphere that continues round the clock. To merely pass through on your holiday to Argentina would be a crime! Go to Buenos Aires >

Iguazu Falls

Iguazú Falls are one of Argentina's most impressive natural attractions. The area is made up of 235 separate waterfalls in a horseshoe right in the heart of the jungle. The Devil's Throat is the largest drop and standing on the viewing platform here is a fantastic experience. Go to Iguazú >

El Calafate

El Calafate is home to the Perito Moreno Glacier - Argentina's second most popular attraction. Standing at a huge 1.5 km, it is one of the only glaciers in the world that both advances and recedes. It is continually creaking and moving, and a visit to this incredible site is all-enveloping. Go to El Calafate >

Salta & the north-west

For something more off the beaten track, we love Salta and north-west Argentina. Here, the Andes Mountains become dramatic red rock with cactus, altiplanic lagoons and salt flats. Salta itself is a charming city with a beautiful historic centre. Go to Salta >

Peninsula Valdes

Peninsula Valdés is home to hundreds of whales from May to November each year, which is a big draw for visitors to the area. The peninsula is also a fascinating marine national park, home to elephant seals, killer whales, seals and even penguins! Go to Peninsula Valdés >

LOI Suites, Iguazu

LOI Suites in Iguazú has one of the best pools in Argentina, in our opinion! A series of overlapping, infinity edged pools meander through the hotel's jungle location just outside of the town of Puerto Iguazú. The rest of the hotel is also very impressive, particularly the lovely rooms.

Club Tapiz, Mendoza

Club Tapiz is located in the heart of the vineyards just outside the city of Mendoza. It offers everything you could want from a wine experience in Argentina, including views across the vineyards to the Andes Mountains, nightly wine tasting and a charming building in which to enjoy it all.
