Patagonia's Southern Icefields 11-day Itinerary
Days 1-3 UK - Santiago
On Day 1, you will depart the UK on your international flight to Santiago, Chile. Upon arrival, you'll spend your first two days enjoying Chile's cosmopolitan capital. Explore the city on a half-day tour and discover traditions that coexist with modern, city life.


Day 4 Puerto Natales
Today you will fly to Puerto Natales and check in to your hotel for one night.


Day 5 Expedition Cruise - Depart Puerto Natales
After a short private transfer to the pier, you’ll check in for the cruise and board Skorpios III ahead of departure at 12:00. Enjoy lunch onboard while the ship navigates the Almirante Montt Gulf, to arrive at Caleta Juarez, where a colony of elephant seals await.


Day 6 Expedition Cruise - Guillard glacier & Amalia Glacier
Today the ship enters the Guillard Fjord, where you’ll have the chance to disembark and hike the Guillard glacier. Back on-board for lunch while the ship sails to Amalia Glacier where there will be afternoon boat trips around the bay with the potential to disembark at the glacier if conditions allow.


Day 7 Expedition Cruise - El Brujo Glacier & Fjord Calvo
Arrival at El Brujo (the Warlock) glacier and then an excursion by boat to Fernando, Capitan Constantino and Alipio glaciers.


Day 8 Expedition Cruise - Fjord of the Mountains
This morning hails a visit to the Fjord of the Mountains, where four glaciers descend from the Sarmiento Mountain Range to the sea. At the Bernal glacier, a hike over the frontal and lateral moraines provides the opportunity to touch the ice and watch the receding phase of a glacier. Back on board, the evening brings a farewell dinner party as the ship navigates through Almirante Montt Gulf back to Puerto Natales.
