Marvel at the colourful wildlife both on land and under the sea: Plus witness the enigmatic and mesmerising remains of ancient civilisations
Begin your journey in Belize at Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary, a haven for birdlife and wetland species. Peaceful boat tours take you through lagoons and forest fringes where crocodiles bask, iguanas slip between branches and the impressive jabiru stork wades through the shallows. It’s an atmospheric introduction to the country’s remarkable biodiversity.
Continue north to Lamanai, one of Belize’s most intriguing Maya sites. Reach the ruins by boat along a remote lagoon and wander among temples rising from dense jungle, surrounded by the sounds of nature. From here, travel inland to San Ignacio, a lively base for exploring archaeological sites, forest trails and the soft adventure for which western Belize is known.
Finally, unwind on the shores of Ambergris Caye. Spend your days snorkelling among colourful coral gardens and vibrant marine life on the Belize Barrier Reef, or simply relax by the water as the pace of island life takes over. It’s a fitting end to a holiday shaped by wildlife, culture and the varied landscapes of Belize.

Embark on a boat tour through winding waterways and keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles basking in the sun, graceful iguanas perched on overhanging branches, and turtles lazily paddling through the waters. You might even catch a glimpse of the majestic jabiru stork, with its awe-inspiring wingspan.

Days 4 - 6 Lamanai
Today you’ll transfer to the rustic Lamanai Outpost Lodge, located on the banks of a remote lagoon close to the remains of the ancient Mayan city of Lamanai. You’ll have time to explore the beautiful natural setting with a selection of activities included in your stay, from nature walks, sunset cruise, Lamanai ruins and more.
