Quick Itinerary
Family Holiday to Baja California
Days 1-2 UK - La Paz
Arrive in La Paz and collect your hire car for the short drive to your hotel.

Day 3-4 La Paz
Your first full day in La Paz has been left for you to explore the area. You may choose to wander around town, or drive a short distance round the cove to Mogote Dunes. Here you can sandboard down the dunes, swim in the refreshing sea or watch the sunset. With medium and small dunes it’s a fun and exhilarating experience for the whole family.
Your second day has also been left free, depending on the season, you may wish to book a whale watching boat tour in the Sea of Cortez. Here, whale sharks can be seen between October and April, grey whales migrate up to Alaska from December to April on the Pacific Coast, while blue whales are seen (and heard) from January to April near Loreto, around 4 hrs north of La Paz. Speak to your Travel Specialist for alternative whale watching ideas.

Day 5 Espiritu Santo Island
Today you can explore the waters surrounding Espiritu Santo Island, rich in biodiversity. The island is often referred to as the Pearl of the Sea of Cortez and is a beautiful, volcanic, desert island, surrounded by crystal clear water and idyllic beaches. The island is home to a variety of sea birds, including at times, blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds and pelicans. Depending on the time of year, dolphins, rays, sharks, turtles and whales may be seen in the waters surrounding the island. The highlight though is swimming and snorkelling with the fun-loving sea lions, the young ones especially enjoy interacting with people.

Days 6-8 San José del Cabo
Depart from La Paz and drive south to the San José del Cabo. The roads are well-paved and its an easy journey. We’d highly recommend you stop en route at Todos Santos, a small colonial town on the Pacific Coast with quaint cobblestone streets, art galleries, local restaurants, and a laid-back surf scene. Its around an hour and half drive from Todos Santos to San José del Cabo.
The following morning, you have an exhilarating adventure into the Baja Peninsula desert by quad bike along trails passing catus strewn mountains and canyons, this is a fun and scenic way to explore. In the morning of day 8 you’ll have a private humpback whale watching boat tour off the coast of Los Cabos. The afternoons have been left free for you and the family to relax by the pool at your resort, discover the rugged landscape of Sierra de la Laguna, or wander the arty streets of laid-back San José del Cabo town.

Days 9-10 San José del Cabo - UK
Today, you’ll head to the airport to return your hire car and catch your onward flight. After an unforgettable adventure, you’ll arrive back in the UK on day 10, bringing home incredible family memories.
