Combine the Geological Wonders of the Andes

Journey through the Andean heartland on this 14-day adventure, revealing the geological wonders of both Chile and Bolivia. Begin in Chile’s captivating capital, Santiago, where cultural districts, leafy parks and views of the Andes provide an inviting introduction before you travel north to the extraordinary Atacama. Here, salt flats, geysers and moon-like valleys create an otherworldly desert landscape unlike anywhere else on Earth.

Continue across the border into Bolivia to explore the Siloli and Dalí Deserts, vast high-altitude landscapes shaped by wind, volcanic activity and time. Discover multi-coloured lagoons visited by flamingos, unusual rock formations sculpted by nature and wide-open horizons that showcase the immense scale of the Altiplano.

Your journey culminates at the world’s largest salt flat, the Salar de Uyuni, a dazzling expanse of white stretching towards distant mountains. From here, travel to La Paz to experience Bolivia’s unique blend of traditional markets, modern cable cars and Indigenous Aymara culture. Rich in contrast, this journey reveals the raw beauty and remarkable geology of the Andes in all its variety.
