Quick Itinerary
Peru Honeymoon Under the Incan Sun
Day 1-2 UK - Lima
Arrive in Lima for a night in Peru's bustling capital city. Depending on the time of your arrival flight, you may wish to relax at the hotel or head out to enjoy the city’s thriving gastronomic scene.

Day 3-4 Cusco
In the morning you will have a city tour of Lima, visiting the main plaza, an UNESCO World Heritage site, overlooked by the imposing Lima Cathedral, and the Larco Museum, home to a vast collection of pre-Hispanic artefacts.
In the afternoon you fly to Cusco where, on your second day, you will enjoy a tour of the city and its surroundings, visiting the cathedral, Koricancha Temple and Inca sites such as Sacsayhuaman, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. The afternoon is then free for you to wander the markets, take a cookery class or why not add an evening culinary walking tour?

Day 5-7 Inca Trail
Today your Inca Trail adventure begins at kilometre 82. The 26-mile hike takes three nights and four days, and along the way, you’ll see remote Inca ruins, hike through cloud forest and along isolated, high passes with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
In the evenings, you will stay at local campsites accompanied by a guide and porters, who will prepare the camp and cook meals, while you relax and take in the spectacular views.

Day 8 Machu Picchu
Today is very much the climax of your Inca Trail honeymoon. Setting off early in the morning you’ll arrive at one of the seven wonders of the world, Machu Picchu, seeing this magnificent site from Intipunku (the Sun Gate). You’ll have time to explore the site before taking the bus down to Machu Picchu Pueblo, where you’ll have time to relax and settle into your room at Sumaq hotel, before enjoying an indulgent five course tasting menu.

Day 9-10 Sacred Valley
After a second, unguided, visit to the famous archaeological site you will board the train bound for the Sacred Valley where you can soak-up the views or perhaps treat your weary legs to a treatment at your hotel’s spa. The following day is a relaxing one - enjoy a gastronomic feast at a nearby ranch for lunch, accompanied by a Paso horse show and traditional music.
Oon your last day in the Sacrey Valley visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo to explore the Inca fortress, Maras and its vast white terraced salt pools, and Moray, circular terraces created by the Incas.
For a memorable experience, consider staying at a glamping pod suspended from the side of a Sacred Valley mountain. Accessed by climbing the rockface you’ll spend the night under an incredible starlit sky for a truly unique stay.

Day 11-13 Lima - UK
Today you head back to Cusco and fly to Lima for your final night. In the evening, delight in a three-course dinner at a contemporary restaurant overlooking the sea, the perfect, romantic spot to enjoy sunset views on your last night.
The following day you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight and will land back in the UK on day 14.
