Classic Peru 10-Day Itinerary
Days 1-2 UK - Lima
Travel on your international flight from the UK and arrive in Lima for a night in Peru's bustling capital city. Enjoy a morning tour on day 2 visiting some of Lima’s highlights, including the main square, cathedral and Larco Museum.
Days 3-4 Sacred Valley
After your morning tour of Lima, fly to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley for two nights.
On day 4, enjoy a full-day tour exploring the ancient Inca sites of Ollantaytambo and Chinchero.
Day 5 Machu Picchu
Today you will climb aboard the train to Machu Picchu. Here you will discover Peru's most iconic attraction with a guide to explain all about the history of the Incan Empire. You will spend the night in the small town of Aguas Calientes, and the following morning, a second entry ticket is included for you to further explore the citadel at your own leisure (unguided).
Days 6-7 Cusco
After your morning at Machu Picchu, you will take the train to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Cusco. Discover the charming streets of the Inca capital on a half-day city tour including Korikancha and Cathedral.
Days 8-10 UK - Lima
Enjoy time at leisure to explore Cusco before flying back to Lima for your final night. On day 9, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. On day 10, you will land back in the UK from Peru.
