Back on the road, you will visit Ingapirca, home to ancient Inca ruins, including the Temple of the Sun, which was used by the Inca and Ca-ari cultures as a ceremonial and sacrificial site.

Your journey will continue to Cuenca, a lovely colonial town in Ecuador's highlands, where you can explore its cobbled streets, fine townhouses and handicraft markets, depending on your arrival time.

Following day, visit Las Cajas National Park, where you’ll have the opportunity for spotting wildlife, with any luck, coatis, hummingbirds and Andean condors. You will then fly from Cuenca back to Quito for the night.
