Experience Bolivia's highlights

Bolivia is a destination that rewards curiosity and an open mind. Set high in the heart of Latin America, it is defined by altitude, distance and a powerful sense of place. Life here unfolds at a different pace, shaped by dramatic landscapes, deep-rooted traditions and a feeling of remoteness that is increasingly rare. For travellers willing to embrace its raw edges, Bolivia offers a journey that feels both grounding and quietly extraordinary.

This 17-day itinerary is designed as a rich and varied introduction to the country’s cultural and natural contrasts. Time in La Paz reveals an old-world capital layered with indigenous heritage, bustling markets and striking mountain backdrops. From here, the route continues to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake on Earth, where communities have lived along its shores for centuries, maintaining customs closely tied to the land and water.

The journey then ventures further off the beaten path, from the dinosaur footprints and dramatic canyons of Torotoro National Park to the vast, otherworldly landscapes of Uyuni and the Siloli Desert. Salt flats, colourful lagoons and volcanic scenery create a fitting finale, showcasing Bolivia at its most elemental. Throughout, the itinerary balances challenge with reward, offering a thoughtful exploration of one of Latin America’s most distinctive and least hurried destinations.
