Go Walking in Torres del Paine

The scenery in Torres del Paine is nothing short of breathtaking and this makes the area a walker's heaven. Whether it's a casual day hike or trekking the world famous W Circuit, you simply must go walking when you visit Torres del Paine.

Go to Torres del Paine >

See the Flamingos in Atacama

The Atacama Desert is the highest and driest desert in the world and you might assume that nothing could survive here. The altiplanic lagoons offer some of Atacama's best scenery and the flock of pink flamingos that call them home are equally impressive.

Go to Atacama >

Take a cruise of the Chilean fjords

Some of Chile's most remote fjords are inaccessible by road and the only way to see them is by ship. We work with several operators that run some spectacular expedition-style cruises into the heart of the Chilean fjords for some unforgettable views!

Go to Patagonia Cruises >

Head up Santiago's San Cristóbal Hill

Gone are the days when tourists passed through Santiago as quickly as possible - today it is a cosmopolitan city with lots to see. We particularly love the green spaces throughout the city; take the funicular up San Cristóbal Hill and you will be rewarded with some spectacular views!

Go to Santiago >

Eat seafood and lamb (not at the same time!)

In the culinary department, there are two things that Chile does very well. The first is seafood and we highly recommend visiting the fish market in Santiago for some of the country's best. The second is lamb and there is no better way to enjoy it than on a traditional barbeque in Patagonia. Delicious!

Ride the funicular in Valparaíso

The funiculars in Valparaíso had a former life transporting goods and people up the steep hillside from the port. Today, they offer tourists a quick way up the hill and a breath-taking view as you climb. Most of the carriages are the originals and creak like it too!

Go to Valparaiso >

Easter Island

Located a 5-hour flight west of the mainland, Easter Island offers a unique culture, compounded by its mysterious history. It’s also a beautiful island and arguably the jewel in Chile's crown.

Torres del Paine

Landscapes don't get more spectacular than the Torres del Paine National Park in the depths of Patagonia. Three huge granite towers dominate the landscape and the area is home to beautiful glaciers, snow-capped mountains and some amazing walking and mountain biking. Go to Torres del Paine >

Atacama Desert

When you set foot on the Atacama Desert you would be forgiven for thinking you have made it to the moon. The landscape is littered with red rock, lagoons, canyons and salt that glistens like diamonds. It's a complete contrast to southern Chile and we think it is a must-visit! Go to Atacama >

Santiago

Santiago has had quite the facelift over recent years and it's well worth spending a few days in Chile's capital. Each district offers its own character and atmosphere, and there are plenty of green spaces to enjoy. Up San Cristóbal Hill, you will find superb views over the city. Go to Santiago >

Easter Island

Located a 5-hour flight west of the mainland, Easter Island offers a unique culture, compounded by its mysterious history. It’s also a beautiful island and arguably the jewel in Chile's crown.

Go to Easter Island >

Chilean Lakes

The Chilean Lake District offers lush green forests, dramatic waterfalls and crystal-clear lakes against a backdrop of snow-capped Andes Mountains. The area is also well-known for several dramatic volcanoes that give the area a unique landscape. Go to Lakes >

Valparaiso

Valparaíso is on the coast just a 90-minute drive from Santiago. The area has a vibrant art community with a wealth of galleries, and artwork that literally spills out onto the streets! There is a thriving gastronomy scene here, as well as an interesting history that makes the town well worth a visit. Go to Valparaíso >
