Costa Rica & Galápagos 14-day Itinerary
Day 1 UK - San Jose - Central Valley
Arrive in Costa Rica and make the short transfer to the Central Valley where your first night will be spent in a beautiful and secluded hilltop hotel overlooking San José.
Days 2-4 Manuel Antonio
Travel to the Central Pacific Coast for a 3-night stay in Manuel Antonio, an idyllic region renowned for its natural beauty.
On a guided tour of the Manuel Antonio National Park, hike through one of the many trails of the park to discover the plethora of diverse wildlife an additional night walk is also included to observe the nocturnal wildlife that thrives amongst the tropical wet forest terrain.
Plenty of time will also be afforded to explore the region independently and unwind on the long stretches of pristine white sandy beaches.
Days 5-7 Osa Peninsula
Your next three nights are spent at a remarkable eco-adventure lodge overlooking the peaceful Sierpe River which is perfectly located to explore the natural highlights of the Osa Peninsula.
Embark on an immersive guided tour of the Corcovado National Park which provides an unparalleled opportunity to explore the dense primary rainforest that has been officially declared as ‘one of the most biologically intense places on earth’ by National Geographic.
On your last full day in Costa Rica, head to the aquamarine waters of Caño Island Biological Marine Reserve to snorkel amongst the colourful coral reefs and rock formations, abundant with schools of vibrant tropical fish.
Day 8 San Jose - Quito
Transfer back to San José International airport and fly to Quito. Spend a night in Ecuador’s capital before a morning flight to the Galápagos the following day.
Days 9-11 Galápagos Islands
Take a short flight to the Galápagos National Park and board the Archipel, a comfortable catamaran with spacious cabins. On an encompassing four-day voyage, discover the best of the Galápagos, visiting some of the most iconic islands including San Cristobal, Santa Fe, Santa Cruz and Genovesa and embark on immersive experiences including zodiac, snorkelling excursions and soft trekking.
Each island contributes their own individuality and offers plenty of opportunity to observe the wildlife the archipelago is renowned for.
Days 12-14 Quito - UK
Today you will depart the Galápagos Island and fly back to Quito. Your time here is free to do some final sightseeing.
On the following day, transfer to Quito airport for your onward flight, arriving back in the UK on day 14.
