Mihaela joined Latin Routes two years ago, combining her academic background in Advertising, Marketing, Communications and PR with a deep passion for travel. With a unique blend of creativity and analytical thinking, she considers herself lucky to work at the intersection of the two industries she loves. From planning events to shaping content, her role brings fresh energy to the Latin Routes marketing team.
Her five years living in Mexico gave Mihaela first-hand experience of Latin American culture and helped her develop a strong connection with the region. Fluent in three languages, Romanian, Spanish and English, she is passionate about storytelling through visual and written content. Whether she’s analysing a campaign or engaging audiences through social media, Mihaela brings a personal and thoughtful touch to every project.
Mihaela’s favourite destination in Latin America is Mexico, a place she describes as having everything, food, music, people, history and scenery. When she’s not working, she’s actively involved in community projects through her Rotary Club, enjoys baking, dancing bachata, gardening, and spending time capturing life’s little moments through writing and photography. Just don’t be surprised if she switches between languages mid-sentence, it happens more often than you’d think!
