Lewis joined Latin Routes in summer 2022, combining a growing passion for marketing with his deep personal connection to travel in Latin America. Having already backpacked through much of North, Central, and South America, he brought a unique traveller’s perspective into his professional role. Since joining, he’s further explored Costa Rica, Patagonia, and even Antarctica with Polar Routes, where he also worked as a ship photographer, blending creativity and exploration in equal measure.
His role centres on photography, content creation, and social media, helping to bring Latin Routes' destinations to life across various platforms. His firsthand knowledge of the continent, from jungle treks to polar voyages, enhances the authenticity of every campaign. He believes these immersive experiences, captured both professionally and personally, are what truly connect travellers to a destination.
One of Lewis’s most cherished memories is his trek to Machu Picchu, culminating in a misty sunrise at the ancient citadel and a selfie with a llama atop Machu Picchu Montana. Outside of work, he enjoys music gigs, football, and cocktail making, all passions that echo his love for Latin culture. With travel experience across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica, he's only one continent short of visiting them all, Asia is next. As he always says: “If you don’t go, you’ll never know.”
