Argentina’s Heartlands: Culture, Landscapes and Tradition
Your journey begins in Buenos Aires, a city defined by character, creativity and contrast. Elegant avenues and historic neighbourhoods sit alongside lively cafés and long-standing traditions, offering a rich introduction to Argentina’s capital. From tango heritage to contemporary city life, Buenos Aires sets the tone for the journey ahead before travelling south into Patagonia.
From here, continue to Bariloche and the Lake District, where crystal-clear lakes are framed by the dramatic peaks of the Andes. This region offers a slower pace, with time to appreciate the balance between mountain scenery, forested landscapes and peaceful lakeside settings. It is a striking change of rhythm, shaped by nature, open space and some of Patagonia’s most rewarding scenery.
The journey continues to Mendoza, Argentina’s celebrated wine region, where vineyard visits and tastings reveal how altitude, climate and craftsmanship influence each bottle. Your holiday then concludes at Iguazú Falls, where vast cascades surge through subtropical rainforest, creating a memorable finale to your time in Argentina before returning to Buenos Aires for your onward flight to the UK.
