Felipe Francisco

Felipe has worked in the travel industry for over 15 years, building a successful marketing and PR career with luxury hotels, tourism boards, airlines, and tour operators across the globe. Originally from Brazil, his passion for discovering the world began early and took him from studying Tourism Management at university to completing a master’s degree in Marketing in the UK. Since then, he has promoted destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, and joined Latin Routes in 2019 to combine his professional expertise with his love for Latin America.

His extensive travels have taken him to over 80 countries across all seven continents, but Latin America holds a special place in his heart. Among the region, he names Chile as a standout favourite (besides his native Brazil), thanks to its striking contrasts, from the vast Atacama Desert to the icy peaks of Patagonia. He is passionate about helping others fall in love with the continent and its unforgettable destinations.

With broad travel interests that span adventure, wildlife, history, and gastronomy, Felipe believes in one simple philosophy: “Always explore as much as you can!” When not travelling, he enjoys running, photography, and discovering new food. He also holds three passports; British, Portuguese, and Brazilian.
