Experience the Highlights of Panama

Our Highlights of Panama holiday is a fantastic mix of culture, history and nature. Your trip starts with a visit to the incredible feat of engineering that is the Panama Canal, explore the historic district, Casco Viejo, and take a motorised canoe trip into the jungle to meet the Embera indigenous people. Continue to Bocas del Toro, in the Caribbean Sea where your free time can be spent relaxing on the beach or arrange an island-hopping tour. Your journey continues to Boquete, in Panama’s lush highlands in Chiriquí province. Here you will have time to appreciate the outstanding natural beauty of the area on a day walk into the hills and a coffee tour, you’ll also meet some members of the Ngöbe-Buglé tribe.

  • Panama City – where old colonial buildings meet modern skyscrapers
  • Relax on white sand beaches or explore the islands of Bocas del Toro
  • Boquete and the Chiriqui Highlands – the best place in Panama to spot the quetzal
  • Meet indigenous people from the native Embera and Ngöbe-Buglé tribes
