On this journey, you will get the full experience of the Falkland Islands. Find something new, exciting and different from anywhere else you have visited before. Discover fascinating wildlife like the King penguin, Albatross or Elephant seal. You will travel to different islands and admire stunning landscapes and beautiful beaches. The capital, Stanley is a colourful city that has a lot offer and will also be part of the journey.

You will fly from London International airport to Santiago in Chile.
Santiago is vibrant and cosmopolitan. Its institutions reveal strong European and North American influences. The city has a lot to offer, and you should go to “La Plaza de Armas”, the main square and the centrepiece of the initial layout in Santiago. From there, you can visit places like La Moneda Palace, Santa Lucia Hill or the Central Market.
You will be able to visit Santiago at your own pace.
Your flight will arrive at Mount Pleasant International Airport via LATAM or direct from the UK via RAF. You will be transferred to a settlement.
You will spend the day with a guide who will drive you around the Darwin, Goose Green and San Carlos settlements. You will get an amazing insight of the island conflicts, and beautiful scenery along the way.
You will travel by plane to Saunders Island where you will be transferred to your accommodation. Here is the opportunity to immerse yourself and meet the locals as no tour is planned in this location. The island offers a diverse wildlife as you will find 4 different types of penguin: Gentoo, Rockhoppers, Magellanic and King penguin. You can also spot Elephant seal and colonies of Albatross on the island, and much more.
You will take an internal flight to Carcass Island – the location is home to an abundant wildlife. In fact, you will see the largest Black-Browed Albatross and Rockhopper colonies, as well as beautiful scenery along the way. The boat Tour is an opportunity to navigate around the island and see dolphins and even whales.
The next destination will be the Sea Lion Island, and from its name, you could admire Sea lions and Elephant seals along the shore. The island is filled with a varied wildlife and you will go on an introductory tour with an experienced guide to familiarise with the island’s layout and wildlife locations.
You will travel via a domestic plane to Bleaker Island – the island has magnificent beaches and sheltered coves. It is also a fascinating place for wildlife. You will observe the Gentoo, Magellanic and Rockhopper penguins.
A plane will bring you to Stanley, the capital of the Falklands. You will have the day for yourself to explore the colourful city where the majority of Falkland Islanders live. War memorials and monuments stand testament to the soldiers who fought to keep the Falklands British. There is plenty to do in Stanley and its size makes it easy to explore it by foot. Some highlights include the Historic Dockyard Museum, the Anglican cathedral and the iconic whalebone arch.
The following day, the guide will drive to Volunteer Point. You will arrive on the beach where you will have the opportunity to see the largest colony of King penguins. Other locations and battle sites are available, should you wish to discover and visit them.
Transfer to the Mount Pleasant International Airport will be provided. You will fly back to Chile and will be advised of the pick-up time the night prior to departure.
Please note a departure tax of £25 per person is payable to Immigration at Mount Pleasant prior to booking. Cash only. You will spend the night at Santiago de Chile in the accommodation of your choice.
Transfert to the airport will be provided and you will fly back to the UK.
