You will fly from the international airport to Santiago and will the next day. On the afternoon, you will be picked up from the hotel for a shared tour.
Santiago is a fascinating city where 40% of the Chilean population live in. It is a modern city, cosmopolitan and sophisticated with a gastronomic cuisine.
You will be picked up from the hotel and travel on a private tour to Valparaiso.
Chile's most unusual city, Valparaiso is colourful and poetic. A wonderful mess where you can wander in the charming little streets and contemplate some of the best street art in Latin America.
You can visit Santiago at your own pace.
Your flight will arrive at Mount Pleasant International Airport via LATAM or direct from the UK via RAF. You will be met and greeted by a Falklands Islands representative, and then transferred to a settlement.
You will arrive at Carcass Island via a domestic flight. The island has an abundance of wildlife and you will be amazed to see the largest Black-Browed Albatross and Rockhopper colonies and stunning landscapes. You will navigate on a boat around the island and could spot dolphins and whales along the way.
The next destination is Sea Lion Island. It is home to a variety of wildlife and their locations are accessible on foot. An introductory tour with your guide will give further information on the island’s layout and wildlife locations. You will arrive and depart with a domestic plane.
Stanley, the capital of the Falkland Islands is a colourful city and most of the Falkland Islanders live there. You can explore it on foot and visit war memorials and monuments such as the Anglican cathedral or the iconic whalebone arch.
You will drive to Volunteer Point. Once you arrive at Volunteer Beach, you can spot the largest colony of King penguins, as well as the Gentoo and Magellanic penguins. Other locations and battle sites are available, should you wish to discover and visit them.
Transfer to the Mount Pleasant International Airport will be provided. You will fly to Santiago and stay overnight at the accommodation of your choice.
Transfer to the airport will be provided and you will fly back to the UK.
