This Chilean adventure will then continue on to Valparaíso, a port town with a charming bohemian feel, filled with poetic inspiration, colourful buildings and something new to discover at every turn. To conclude, you'll stay in a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the Chilean Wine Region, home to an enviable variety of wine terroirs and styles.

Day 1 - Depart the UK

Today you will depart the UK on your international flight to Santiago, Chile

Days 2 - 4 - Santiago

Arrive in the Chilean capital – a modern, clean and bustling city framed by the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. The city has a colonial atmosphere due to its architecture and a number of small squares and parks. Orientate yourself with a half-day tour to a selection of the city’s places of interest, and perhaps spend your time at leisure discovering the thriving restaurant scene

Days 5 - 7 - The Atacama Desert

This fantastic journey will take you to the world’s highest and driest desert – the Atacama. You’ll fly from Santiago to Calamá Airport, where a guide will be waiting for you and will take you on to the hotel on a shared transfer.
This outstanding region is one filled with huge salt flats, hot springs and steaming geysers, and you’d be forgiven for thinking you have landed on the moon, as you are greeted by a landscape of red rock as far as the eye can see!

Days 8 & 9 - Valparaiso

The next day you fly back to Santiago and transfer straight to Valparaíso – a city that is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, perched on the edge of a steep hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This is an enchanting place, with a striking contrast between the colourful tin houses lining the hillside and the Victorian mansions down by the port. This once-thriving port town has a charmingly bohemian feel, and you'll be sure to love exploring its beautiful maze of narrow streets filled with an array of restaurants, bars, museums and colonial buildings.

Day 10 & 11 - Chilean Wine Region

Spend the final two days relaxing in the heart of Chile's wine region, you'll enjoy the picturesque vineyard surrounds of your luxury boutique hotel, with a vineyard tour and wine tasting. On full board basis, you'll dine on locally sourced ingredients skillfully prepared.

Day 12 - Depart Wine Region

Transfer to Santiago airport for your onward flight.

Day 13 - Arrive in the UK

Today you will land back in the UK from Chile.
