Patagonia's Southern Icefields 11-day Itinerary
Days 1-3 UK - Santiago
On Day 1, you will depart the UK on your international flight to Santiago, Chile. Upon arrival, you'll spend your first two days enjoying Chile's cosmopolitan capital. Explore the city on a half-day tour and discover traditions that coexist with modern, city life.


Day 4 Puerto Natales
Today you will fly to Punta Arenas and transfer to Puerto Natales with a stop at Cerro Negro Ranch to enjoy a local meal and watch a sheep shearing and herding demonstration. Arrive in Puerto Natales and check in to your hotel for one night.


Day 5 Expedition Cruise - Depart Puerto Natales
After a short private transfer to the pier, you’ll check in for the cruise and board Skorpios III ahead of departure at 13:00. Enjoy lunch onboard while the ship navigates the Almirante Montt Gulf, to arrive at Caleta Juarez, where a colony of elephant seals await.


Day 6 Expedition Cruise - Guillard glacier & Sarratea Bay
Today the ship enters the Guillard Fjord, where you’ll have the chance to disembark and hike the Guillard glacier. After lunch back onboard, take a zodiac cruise through the channels of the glacier for an up-close view and later discover Sarratea Bay.


Day 7 Expedition Cruise - Amalia glacier & El Brujo glacier
This morning brings panoramic views as the ship approaches Amalia glacier. After breakfast, disembark for a hike through the sand and rocks to a viewpoint for a spectacular view of the glacier. Later, a view of El Brujo (the Warlock) glacier and then an excursion by boat to Fernando, Capitan Constantino and Alipio glaciers.


Day 8 Expedition Cruise - Fjord of the Mountains
This morning hails a visit to the Fjord of the Mountains, where four glaciers descend from the Sarmiento Mountain Range to the sea. At the Bernal glacier, a hike over the frontal and lateral moraines provides the opportunity to touch the ice and watch the receding phase of a glacier. Back on board, the evening brings a farewell dinner party as the ship navigates through Almirante Montt Gulf back to Puerto Natales.


Days 9-11 Santiago - UK
Transfer to Santiago airport for your onward flight.
