The Northeast coast of Brazil is home to some of Brazil’s most dramatic coastline and best beaches. The area is made up of several major cities, each with its own attractions and idyllic resorts hidden up and down the coast. The cities of Recife, Olinda, São Luís and Fortaleza have a deep colonial heritage with preserved historic centres and a range of attractions to enjoy. Each one also has their own city beach.

The more idyllic resorts that are dotted along the coast are home to some of Brazil's best resort style hotels that are perfect for relaxing. Hundreds of kilometres off the coast from the city of Natal, you will also find Ilha de Fernando de Noronha, which is home to one of the finest oceanic wildlife reserves in the world.

Each main city in the area generally has its own airport with good connections to the principal cities in Brazil. Best Time to Go

The area is generally warm and sunny all year round and temperatures reach up to 32°C. The area is prone to some rainfall between April and August, however generally this tends to be confined to short heavy showers in the late afternoons.
