Aqua Mare

The Aqua Mare is the first superyacht to sail in the Galapagos Islands, owned and operated by the well-established, small cruise line, Aqua Expeditions. The Aqua Mare brings a new level of elegance to this remote region of the world, with opulent Italian design and spacious communal areas. The yacht has a 1:1 crew-to-passenger ratio, with 14 crew members and two expert naturalist guides.

Cabins on the Aqua Mare are some of the most spacious available in the Galapagos Island and include one sumptuous Owner’s Suite and six Design Suites, accommodating a total of 16 passengers. All cabins have a refined decor, with walnut veneer wood panelling and en suite bathrooms finished in Italian marble. Between excursions, guests can unwind in the spacious panoramic lounge, in the relaxed briefing lounge, or on the sundeck with its Jacuzzi and sun loungers, the ideal spot to enjoy the views. Meals are taken in the sophisticated dining room or al fresco on the shaded top deck, or in the aft outdoor dining area. Although the Aqua Mare is incredibly luxurious, it has a very relaxed atmosphere, with a no-shoe policy, slippers are provided on arrival for all guests.

The Aqua Mare operates two week-long itineraries, visiting either the east or western islands, or combine the two for an in-depth 14 day cruise. Snorkelling equipment and wetsuits, use of kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, two-hours of Wi-Fi daily, and laundry are included on all expeditions.
