This encompassing 5-day western Galapagos itinerary onboard the Santa Cruz II begins in Baltra before sailing on towards Dragon Hill on Santa Cruz Island for your first glimpse of some of the enigmatic wildlife of the renowned archipelago. Circumnavigating around the seahorse-shaped Isabela Island, many immersive stops await including visits to Punta Vicente Roca with its fascinating geology and then to one of the most pristine islands in the world – Fernandina, replete with dense colonies of marine iguanas and large populations of flightless cormorants. Continue to Santa Cruz Islands for a visit to the world-famous Charles Darwin Research Station with an afternoon free to enjoy a range of active experiences. The following day is your last of this trip to the Galapagos which focuses on the human history and stunning wildlife of Floreana Island.
