With the 2014/15 season starting in November, now is certainly the time to book. Latin Routes can also offer some great discounts – contact us here to find out more.

Antarctic Fly and Cruise

This 8 day cruise is perfect for those looking to avoid sailing across the notorious Drake’s passage, or if you’re just looking for a slightly shorter trip, as you fly straight from Chile to Antarctica

Day 1:

Arrive in Punta Arenas, on the North bank of the Strait of Magellan. Transfer to a local hotel for an informative briefing about your trip. Stay for your welcome dinner, offering an opportunity to meet your travelling companions.

Day 2:

Board your plane and relax – the flight is just 2 hours to King George Island in Antarctica. Once you’ve landed, you will be given time to explore the fascinating Chilean Research Base before boarding the ship itself.

Day 3-6:

Upon reaching the Antarctic Peninsula, you will spend the vast majority of your time exploring the wonders that the Antarctic has to offer. Your expedition team will guide you along the way.

Day 7:

Return to King George Island where you will fly back across Drake’s Passage to Punta Arenas, spending you final night in your hotel.

Day 8: Antarctic

After a sumptuous breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in Punta Arenas for your onward flight.

This fantastic cruise option is offered solely by Exodus, one of the most popular of Latin Routes’ Cruise Operators. However, this is by no means the only option. Latin Routes have a wide range of cruises, each built to suit your individual needs.
