There are a number of different ways to get a good look at the falls themselves. If you’re looking for a full day out then the Argentinian side holds a real treat – with over 5km of walkways to explore, guides on offer and a viewing platform that extends over the falls, this is a great opportunity to take in the sights from as many angles as possible. One of the most exciting highlights in this area is found down in the Iguazu River itself. You can’t get much closer to the falls than on an exhilarating boat safari. Be prepared to take a ride into one of the waterfalls itself and, most importantly, be prepared to get wet! There’s nothing quite as invigorating as the feeling the full power of the Devil’s Gorge just right in front of you.

Alternatively, hitch a ride in a state-of-the art helicopter and get a bird’s eye view of the falls. The sheer scale of this natural wonder only becomes evident when you’re hovering a few hundred feet above it, cruising around the mist that above the main horseshoe of waterfalls.
