About Me

Travel has been in my blood for as long as I can remember. As a kid growing up in Brazil, I always dreamt of visiting off-the-beaten-track destinations in Asia and Africa and exploring more of Latin America. After studying Tourism Management at university, I moved to the UK to do a master’s degree in marketing – and never really looked back. I’ve been in the travel industry for over 15 years, working in marketing and PR for luxury hotels, tourist boards, airlines and tour operators. I love what I do as it allows me to share my passion for travel and Latin America, making people fall in love with these amazing destinations.

My Travel Experience

I’ve been lucky enough to have visited and experienced over 65 countries on all 7 continents, and my ultimate goal is to one day tick off every single country in the world (one can dream!). Some of my highlights include backpacking across Latin America, travelling solo in Southeast Asia for 6 months, and more recently I fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting Africa – doing a camping honeymoon across southern Africa, all the way from Zambia to Cape Town.

Undoubtedly one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been to is Antarctica, which I also had the privilege of visiting recently. It was a life-changing experience that I'd highly recommend to everyone. 

My Favourite Experience

I can easily spend hours talking about Latin America (good thing this is also my day job!). It’s hard to choose favourites, but high on my list would be Patagonia for the amazing hikes and incredible landscapes. Also, the Galapagos, which is truly one of the most amazing places on earth, with some of the best wildlife experiences you can possibly imagine. And of course, my hometown of Rio de Janeiro, easily the sexiest city in the world, where mountains meet beautiful beaches and the rainforest, all topped off with some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
