You will begin your 19-day holiday in Chile's cosmopolitan capital, Santiago. Enjoy the gardens, boutiques and thriving restaurant scene before heading to the bohemian port town of Valparaiso with its amazing art scene. Next head to the amazing Atacama Desert before the holiday then moves to the south of Chile, taking in the beautiful Lake District and Torres del Paine National Park. Finally, spend a few days relaxing in the vineyards of the wine region and sampling the local produce.
This Holiday takes in the best highlights of Chile in three weeks, which means you can take your time exploring and really get to uncover the delights this stunning country has to offer.

Spend your first three nights in Chile exploring the capital city Santiago. Enjoy a fascinating Half Day City Tour on your first morning and learn about the fascinating multi-cultural history of Chile which has shaped what the country has become today. Your guide will also suggest great places to see with the rest of your time in the city, you could head up to the San Cristobal hill for a great view over the city or discover one of the cities many parks, art galleries and museums.
Today you will be transferred to the coastal town of Valparaiso where you will spend two nights at a charming boutique hotel in the old town.
Valparaiso is a town with a unique bohemian atmosphere characterised by the brightly coloured houses, lively restaurant scene and the artwork that spills out onto the streets. Throughout the historic area known as Cerro Alegro, you will see numerous examples of beautiful murals and artworks of all different styles painted onto the buildings. Many homes have opened their doors to become art galleries and an afternoon spent walking around is a must.
After transferring back to Santiago, you will fly to Calama and discover the Atacama Desert – the highest, driest desert in the World. You will spend three nights near to the town of San Pedro de Atacama.
On your first afternoon, you will head out on a tour to see the sunset at the Moon Valley. The Moon Valley is a stunning canyon just a short drive from town and as the sun sets the rocks turn rich reds and oranges which allows for some truly stunning scenes.
On the second day, you will head out on a full-day tour to the Altiplanico Lagoons before going onto the famous salt flats to see their resident flamingos. The day will be full of inspiring scenery.
The third day is free for you to relax, but with so much more to see you may decide to book another tour or perhaps you'll hire some mountain bikes and head off into the hills that surround the town.
The next day you will head back to Calama and fly on to Puerto Montt for the Chilean Lake District (connection in Santiago). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the lakeside town of Puerto Varas for three nights.
On your first day, you will join a full-day tour to the beautiful Chiloe Island. After taking the ferry across you will continue to the bay of Ancud. Here you will take time to explore the community, the local craft and fish market and the famous San Antonio fortress. If it is within the season, you will then continue to see the Penguin Colony at Punihuil Cove.
With the rest of your time in the Lakes, you may decide to enjoy one of the many adventure activities on offer or just simply sit back, relax and admire the view.
Today you will fly to Punta Arenas in the heart of Chilean Patagonia. You will then transfer to the town of Puerto Natales, which is the gateway town to the famous Torres del Paine National Park. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a local hotel for three nights.
On your first day, you will join a full-day tour to the famous Torres Del Paine. The tour will take you to a number of the highlights in the park including Lago Grey and various excellent viewpoints for the three Torres. Your guide will tell you all about the park and what makes it unique as well as pointing out the unique wildlife as you come across it. It's a day full of dramatic snow-capped mountains, stunning scenery and beautiful lakes and glaciers.
With your second day in Puerto Natales, you may decide to try out one of the many adventure activities in the surrounding area or relax around town.

In the morning you will be transferred back to Punta Arenas where you will fly on to Santiago. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Chile’s Wine Region which is around a two-hour drive south of the city. You will stay at a charming hotel near to the vineyards.
Here you will have two days at leisure to discover the delights of the region, you may decide to enjoy some wine tasting, take a tour of a local bodega or even a horseback ride through the vineyards. Alternatively, you may decide just to relax with a nice cool glass of local wine.
You will head back to Santiago airport for your onward flight
