You will begin your holiday in Chile in the capital of the country, Santiago. Enjoy the gardens, boutiques and thriving restaurant scene before heading to the bohemian port town of Valparaiso with its amazing art scene. Next head to the amazing Atacama Desert before the holiday then moves to the south of Chile and seeing the beautiful Lake District and Torres del Paine National Park. Finally spend a few days relaxing in the vineyards of the Wine Region and sampling the local produce.
This Holiday takes in the best highlights of Chile. 3 weeks means you can take your time exploring and really get to uncover the delights Chile has to offer.

Fly overnight from the UK to Santiago for 3 nights in the capital city of Chile. Enjoy a fascinating Half Day City Tour on your first morning and learn about the fascinating multi-cultural history of Chile which has shaped what the country has become today. Your guide will also suggest great places to see with the rest of your time in the city.
With the rest of your time in the city you could head up the San Cristobal hill for a great view over the city or discover one of the cities many parks, art galleries and museums.
Today you will be transferred to the coastal town of Valparaiso where you will spend 2 nights at a charming boutique hotel in the old town of Valparaiso.
Valparaiso is a town with a unique bohemian atmosphere characterised by the brightly coloured houses, lively restaurant scene and the artwork that literally spills onto the streets. Throughout the historic area known as Cerro Alegro you will see numerous examples of beautiful murals and artworks of all different styles painted onto the buildings. Many homes have opened their doors to become little art galleries and an afternoon walking around is a must.
After transferring back to Santiago, you will fly to Calama and discover the Atacama Desert – the highest, driest desert in the World. You will spend 3 nights near to the town of San Pedro de Atacama.
On your first afternoon you will head out on a tour to see sunset at the Moon Valley. The Moon Valley is a stunning canyon just a short drive from town and as the sun sets the rocks turn rich reds and oranges for some truly stunning scenes.
On the second day you will head out on a full day tour to the Altiplanico Lagoons before going onto the famous salt flats to see their resident flamingos. The day will be full of inspiring scenery that is sure to fill up your memory card!
The third day is free to relax, but with so much more to see you may decide to book another tour or hire some mountain bikes and head off into the hills that surround the town.
You will head back to Calama and fly on to Puerto Montt for the Chilean Lake District (1 connection in Santiago). Upon arrival you will be transferred to the lake side town of Puerto Varas for 3 nights.
On your first day you will join a full day tour to the beautiful Chiloe Island. After taking the ferry across you will continue to the bay of Ancud. There you will take time to explore the community, the local craft and fish market and the famous San Antonio fortress. If it is within the season, you will then continue to see the Penguin Colony at Punihuil Cove.
With the rest of your time in the Lakes you may decide to enjoy one of the many adventure activities on offer or just relax and admire the view!
Today you will fly to Punta Arenas in the heart of Chilean Patagonia. You will then transfer to the town of Puerto Natales, which is the gateway town to the famous Torres del Paine National Park. Upon arrival you will be transferred to a local hotel for 3 nights.
On your first day you will join a full day tour to the famous Torres Del Paine. The tour will take you to a number of the highlights in the park including Lago Grey and various excellent view points for the 3 Torres. Your guide will tell you all about the park and what makes it unique as well as pointing out the unique wildlife as you come across it. It's a day full of dramatic snow-capped mountains, stunning scenery and beautiful lakes and glaciers.
With your second day in Puerto Natales, you may decide to try out one of the many adventure activities in the surrounding area or relax around town.

In the morning you will be transferred back to Punta Arenas where you will fly on to Santiago. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Chile’s Wine Region which is around a 2 hour drive south of the city. You will stay at a charming hotels near to the vineyards.
You will have 2 days at leisure to discover the delights of the region, you may decide to take park in one of the many wine related activities including wine tasting, tours of local bodegas or even a horseback riding through the vineyards. Alternatively you may decide just to relax with a nice cool glass of local Sauvignon Blanc!
You will head back to Santiago airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
