Bolivia’s cities work at their own pace too. Filled with warm and genuine people, many dressed in their indigenous attire. This holiday will take you on a journey from the world’s highest capital, La Paz; through to Sucre known locally as, Cuidad Blanco, or the white city.

From Sucre, you will head towards Potosí. Potosí was once twice the size of Paris and one of the richest cities in the world, it’s baroque colonial architecture reminds visitors of its place in history. Silver once poured from its hills for centuries financing the Spanish Empire.

The trip for Potosí to Uyuni salt flats, where you will spend the night in hotel built from the salt and explore the flats with the comfort and versatility of a 4x4.

Your holiday ends at the world’s highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca. You will then return to La Paz and fly home. Some of the most breath-taking sites that you will remember for a life time.

Day 1-2: La Paz

Fly overnight and arrive in the bustling old-world capital of La Paz for your first night and take a private guided tour of the main highlights on your first afternoon.

Day 3: Sucre

Take a short flight East to the historic city of Sucre, where the green plazas and narrow streets are a buzz with locals and visitors enjoying the warm and pleasant weather. Enjoy a private city tour.

Day 4: Potosí

Travel by private vehicle to the town of Potosí, where you’ll visit the silver mines of Cerro Rico to get a first-hand look at how this precious metal is extracted.

Day 5: Potosí

In the morning you will have the opportunity to have a tour of the city of Potosí, before making the journey to Uyuni and its famous Salt Flats.

Day 6-8: Uyuni & 4x4 Desert Adventure

Unmistakably one off South America’s biggest attractions is the incredible white landscape of the Uyuni Salt Flats. Here you will visit the salt producing town of Colchani and the remote island of Incahuasi where can find cacti up to 10 metre tall! After an impressive sunset enjoy dinner and a cosy night at a hotel made completely of salt.

Day 9-10: Copacabana/ Lake Titicaca

Travel to the town of Copacabana on the shores of one of Bolivia’s most sacred site, Lake Titicaca. After a short boat ride, take a short hike on Sun Island for beautiful vistas across the lake.

Day 11-12: Fly to UK

Fly back to the UK overnight.
