You'll land in Chile's bustling and cosmopolitan capital, Santiago, where you’ll learn all about Chile's culture and fascinating history before heading north to the incredible Atacama Desert – a world filled with red rock landscapes and outstanding natural phenomena such as geysers rising high above the ground. This Chilean adventure will then continue on to Valparaíso, a port town with a charming bohemian feel, filled with poetic inspiration, colourful buildings and something new to discover at every turn!

Take an overnight flight to Santiago.
Land in the Chilean capital – a modern, clean and bustling city framed by the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. The city has a colonial atmosphere due to its architecture and a number of small squares and parks. There is also a thriving restaurant scene in the city with no end to the number of great places you can find to eat.
Half-Day Private Santiago Sensations City Tour
On this wonderful tour your senses will experience all of Santiago's best charms. You’ll visit the historic Santa Lucía Hill before heading to the París-Londres neighbourhood where you'll find examples of famous European architecture within the area's surrounding buildings. Other places that will be visited include the Central Market, known for its cuisine and exotic fish stores, and the renowned flower market filled with colourful displays and beautiful scents.
Half-Day Private Tour Concha & Toro Winery
Heading out of Santiago, you'll reach the Concha y Toro Winery where you’ll walk through the lovely gardens and estate, learn about its origins and distinguish over 26 varieties of grapes. The excursion then continues on to the Old Pirque Vineyard, where you'll enjoy a premium wine tasting and explore the wine cellars, including the famous Centenarian Devil’s Cellar. At the end of the excursion, you’ll receive an engraved glass to keep as a memento of this fabulous experience.
This fantastic journey will take you to the world’s highest and driest desert – the Atacama. You’ll fly from Santiago to Calamá Airport, where a guide will be waiting for you and will take you on to the hotel on a shared transfer.
This outstanding region is one filled with huge salt flats, hot springs and steaming geysers, and you’d be forgiven for thinking you have landed on the moon, as you are greeted by a landscape of red rock as far as the eye can see!
Half-Day Tour to the Death & Moon Valleys
On this same day, you’ll be picked up at your hotel in the afternoon in order to enjoy a spectacular evening exploring the Death Valley and watching the sun set in the Moon Valley. You'll also be stopping by the Andean Mountain range, the huge Atacama Salt Lake, the active Lascar Volcano and the impressive Licancabur Volcano. It's certain to be a day you'll never forget!
Full-Day Tour to Altiplanic Lagoons, Chaxa & Toconao
As we head towards the Atacama Salt Flat, you’ll be able to observe two or three different pink species of flamingos at the Chaxa Lagoon. On this exciting excursion, you will see a contrast of blue coloured waters located at the foot of volcanoes and lush green vegetation in Quebrada de Jerez – an oasis right in the middle of the desert. A visit to the settlement of Toconao, constructed from volcanic rock and well known for its spectacular views of the Atacama Salt Flat, will also be part of the excursion.
Half-Day Tour to Atacama Salt Lake & Toconao
Toconao is a small town nestled not far from San Pedro de Atacama. Appreciate the beautiful architecture of the town church and its bell tower, and hike around the beautiful fruit gardens of this little town before continuing the journey on to the largest salt flat in Chile – Salar de Atacama – and finding the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Chaxa Lagoon will be your next destination, where you can admire three different species of flamingos and other animals inhabiting these salt deposit lagoons.
On your last day in the Atacama Desert, you’ll have the chance to explore this fascinating region at your own pace.
The following day, you’ll fly to Valparaíso – a city that is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, perched on the edge of a steep hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This is an enchanting place, with a striking contrast between the colourful tin houses lining the hillside and the Victorian mansions down by the port. This once thriving port town has a charming bohemian feel, and you'll be sure to love exploring its beautiful maze of narrow streets filled with an array of restaurants, bars, museums and colonial buildings.
Half-Day Chilean Cuisine Cooking Class & Market Tour
This fantastic tour will not only give you the opportunity to learn all about the menu being prepared from your chef and teacher, but you’ll also visit the fresh food markets together in order to buy the ingredients that will be used during the class. Learning all about Chile's most famous culinary delights, you’ll prepare pisco sours, empanadas, pebre and ensalada chilena, plus an entrée, main course and dessert of your selection.
You’ll enjoy a private transfer back to Santiago, ready to take your overnight flight back to the UK.
