Today we’ll be having a look at some of our other cruise operators, so you can decide which the perfect one for you is. G Adventures is one of our more popular cruise operators – fun, friendly and open to a wide range of people, this company has a strong focus on being ecologically conservative. Passengers often share this ethos, looking to minimise their impact on this beautiful continent whilst still being able to enjoy its astonishing beauty.

Furthermore, the ship employs a diverse range of experts who are on hand to answer your questions about the ecology and wildlife of the area. In addition to this, there are regular talks and lectures about the Antarctic to really enrich your experience. With just one ship, many would consider G Adventures to be exclusive – the ship itself, although not necessarily built for luxury, has a few of those extra touches to make your trip just that bit better (including a Sauna and BBQ deck area!).

Hurtigruten is one of the bigger companies that we sell, with a fleet of 14 ships. Based in Norway, Hurtigruten are experts in Antarctic cruising, having over 120 years of maritime experience. Offering a more luxurious experience than some other companies, Hurtigruten tends to attract a diverse range of travellers, all of whom are passionate about the Antarctic. This makes for a great atmosphere on board – especially with the ships areas for socialising. The age range tends to be 40 and over, but younger travellers are more than welcomed!
