Cristalino Jungle Lodge, The Amazon

However, its attitude towards preserving the jungle does not impact how luxurious the facilities are. There is a thatched-roof patio where candlelit dinners are held, along with a common room and small library. In addition, there is a Screened Treehouse which can be used for spotting wildlife or just to soak in the beautiful views of the amazon.

With only 10 Suites and 4 Bungalows, the Fazenda Sao Francisco is the definition of exclusive. 15km of deserted beach await you including a coral reef extending 10km out to sea. The hotel’s seclusion is matched only by its luxuriousness and range of activities – from snorkelling just off the coast to a range of options hiking in the surrounding area. Ilha Toque Toque
There are only 12 Suites available at this equally exclusive hotel which is 3 hours from Sao Paulo, set amid the Atlantic forest next to the Toque Toque Grande – a beautiful beach which, despite its name, is a mere 800m long. The hotel is the only one in the immediate area, at the top of a hill leading down to the beach itself. The pace of life is certainly slower than the average hotel – the luxuriousness combined with picturesque views of the bay lead to a greater appreciation of the surrounding natural beauty.
