After spending a couple of nights discovering the sights of Buenos Aires you fly to Bariloche to begin your Patagonian adventure. Crystal clear lakes set aginst a dramatic backdrop of the Andes Mountains await.
The itinerary moves onto El Calafate where you will have the opportunity to see one of Argentinas biggest attractions - the Perito Moreno Glacier. Finally you will head to Ushuaia, affectionately known as “the end of the world” and see the beautiful Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Fly overnight from the UK to Buenos Aires where you will spend 2 nights in the home of the tango, at a centrally located hotel.
Enjoy a fascinating Half Day City Tour on your first morning and learn about the fascinating history of Argentina which has shaped what the country has become today. You will also discover great places to see with the rest of your time.
With the rest of your time in the city you could discover one of the cities many art galleries or museums. Alternatively, if your stay falls over a Sunday, you could visit the famous San Telmo Sunday Market which is home to a huge range of local artisan stalls, live music, tango and a buzzing atmosphere.
Fly from Buenos Aires to Bariloche to see the amazing scenery of Argentina’s Lake District. You will spend 3 nights at a lake side hotel near to the town of Bariloche.
Enjoy a Half Day Scenic Surroundings tour which will head out of town to some of the best viewpoints in the surrounding area. Make sure you don’t forget your camera for photos of crystal clear blue lakes set against a backdrop of snow-capped Andes Mountains. With the rest of your time you can discover more highlights of the region for yourself.
Today you will fly to El Calafate where you will find the scenery will dramatically change again. Around El Calafate the mountains get bigger, there are some amazing glaciers (including the Perito Moreno) as well as some of the classic Pampas scenery that makes Argentina famous all over the world. You will stay 3 nights in this area.
You will discover the hugely impressive sight of the Perito Moreno glacier for yourself on a full day tour which will take you as close to the face of it as you can get. If you still want to get closer speak to your Latin Routes Travel Specialist about trekking on the ice itself (not included)
Fly from El Calafate to Ushuaia which is the most southerly town in the world and affectionately known as the “End of the World.” Home to dramatic scenery, the Tierra del Fuego National Park and the famous Beagle Channel which has been the starting point for all sorts of expeditions to Antarctica. You will spend 2 nights at a city centre hotel.
On your first morning you will head into the Tierra del Fuego National Park to see the sights this unique landscape has to offer. Your guide will explain all about the unique flora and fauna of the park and show you some of the most scenic spots. With the rest of your time in the area you may decide to take a cruise onto the Beagle Channel or visit Penguin Island.
Today you will fly back to Buenos Aires to where your Argentine Holiday started.
You could spend your last night stocking up on some last minute souvenirs, or perhaps go to see a tango show?
