Take a guided journey through the history of Lima and explore the capital's main sights including the beautiful square and Cathedral.
Gastronomic Experience - Lima Foodie Tour
The most representative flavours of Peruvian cuisine will be waiting for you as you embark on an unforgettable culinary adventure. Begin your journey in a typical Peruvian market and end the tour by preparing and enjoying some popular local dishes.

Day 3 – Lima to Arequipa
Fly to Arequipa in the morning. Enjoy a guided tour through its beautifully preserved colonial centres and visit the stunning Santa Catalina Convent, a 16th-century monastery which is still inhabited by Dominican nuns to this day.

Day 4 – Arequipa to Colca Canyon
Today will be a delight of amazing landscapes as you journey through the Peruvian altiplano towards the Colca Canyon. The trip will be around 5 hours but with plenty of stops for you to stretch your legs and enjoy the spectacular views.

Day 5 – Colca Canyon
Wake up early to go in search of Condors gliding on the warm morning thermal currents. This is a morning for visual delights and wildlife encounters! Your guide will help you spot the elusive birds amongst the scenery of the vast canyon.

Day 6 – Colca Canyon to Lake Titicaca
The deep blue waters of Lake Titicaca await you. The journey will be around 5 to 6 hours but Peru’s beautiful scenery will be accompanying you along the way and your Tour Leader will entertain you with insightful and fun stories about the country!

Day 7 – Lake Titicaca
Lake Titicaca has been home to several indigenous communities for centuries, and many still live here. You will learn about their ancient ways of life with a tour to the Uros and Taquile Islands. From here you will take a short hike to reach a viewpoint with stunning panoramic vistas, and a local restaurant will reward your efforts with a tasty and typical lunch of freshly caught fish.

Day 8 – Lake Titicaca to Cusco
Another day for stunning scenery as you take the tourist bus to Cusco. Along the way, you will visit Andahuaylillas, a town where you will find a precious church from the 17th century. Next will be a guided visit to the Raqchi archaeological site and your last stop will be at La Raya, the highest point on the road, from where you will get excellent photo opportunities.

Day 9 – Cusco

Cultural Experience - Treasures of the Sacred Valley
Take an in-depth tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the archaeological site of Moray, the Maras salt mines and the Inca complex of Ollantaytambo, one of the largest in Peru. In the town you will have some time to stroll through the market and the cobblestone streets on your own.
Local Experience - Misminay Community Visit
Enjoy a day in the company of a local Sacred Valley Community. Famous for its production of alpaca textiles, Misminay is a small community of 100 families located at 3,700 metres altitude. They will welcome you for the day and share their traditional Andean lifestyle through several participatory activities.
Active Experience – Humantay Lagoon Trek
Discover one of Peru’s hidden gems on a trek to the beautiful Humantay Lagoon. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the distinct turquoise waters of the lake provide a rewarding sight after your hike.

Day 10 – Cusco To Machu Picchu
Today will be an early start that culminates in the highlight you have been waiting for. Following a train and a bus ride, you will reach Machu Picchu, where you will enjoy a guided tour before having lunch in the charming Aguas Calientes, followed by a free afternoon to explore at your own pace.

Day 11 – Machu Picchu To Cusco
For another chance to visit Machu Picchu we have included a second entry to the citadel. You can enjoy your morning visit at your own speed, so you may choose to stay in the area, or hike to the Sun Gate. You will take the train back to Cusco in the early afternoon.

Day 12 – Cusco to Lima
The old Inca capital will inspire you with its beautifully preserved colonial centre and Inca ruins. You will visit Sacsayhuamán fortress on the city’s outskirts, and during a walking tour, you will stop at San Pedro Market for an insight into modern life in Cusco, as this is where the locals buy fresh produce and you can find your perfect souvenir to take back home! After your tour, transfer to the airport and fly to Lima for your final night of the tour.

Day 13 – Depart Lima
