Hotel Rio Serrano sits on the eastern bank of the river that it gets its name from, the River Serrano. The river, which is born in the waters of Toro Lake, leads into Ultima Esperanza Sound and the hotel sits on its banks just outside the National Park and surrounded by astonishing views. Hotel Rio Serrano is outside the Park's borders, but belongs administratively to the Park, which means you do not have to re-pay the Parks entrance fee.

Hotel Rio Serrano is located at the entrance of the famous Torres del Paine National Park. Torres del Paine is located in the Magallanes Region, between the massif of the Andes mountains and the Patagonian steppe, in the Ultima Esperanza province, county of Torres del Paine.
Hotel Rio Serrano is approximately 4 hours' drive from the airport at Punta Arenas. It can also be reached from El Calafate, crossing the Chile-Argentina border at Cerro Castillo by road.
