When Do You Want To Go?

Arguably The Most Famous National Park In South America & Crown Jewel of Patagonia

Fast becoming one of the most famous and popular places in the world to enjoy a trekking holiday, the Torres del Paine is a wild, rugged, and outstandingly beautiful National Park located in Chilean Patagonia, on the border of Argentina and Chile.

Most famous for the three towering granite pillars that give the park its name, watching the horns of the Torres del Paine Massif glow purple and red at sunrise is indeed a moment you will carry with you. But so too are many other moments of wonder you'll experience in this magnificent park: Hike through emerald-green forests, wild windy grasslands and glacial valleys, kayak amongst enormous blue and white icebergs, sail Lake Grey whilst marvelling at its towering glacier, savour the beauty of a sunset over an icy lagoon, and revel in the abundance of incredible wildlife - from guanacos to soaring condors, and even the elusive puma - to be found roaming throughout this impeccable National Park.

Holidays to Chile, and Torres del Paine start from £2,999 per person. Get in touch to find out prices for your perfect trip.

The Area

Puerto Natales is the nearest town to the Torres del Paine National Park, and has many options for people choosing to stay here and travel the two-hour drive to the park entrance each day. Alternatively, there are numerous park lodges, camps and hotels within the park itself, which offer a wide variety of options at all different levels of luxury, but always with spectacular views.

Getting around is never a problem, with public buses, car hire, or private or shared transfers all easy and abundant options. There are also, of course, many tours and excursions that can be joined.

Best Time to Go

The best time to visit is November to February, when the temperatures are warm and the summer blooms are out in full. You will find the park less busy in March - April and October. Avoid May - September if you want to stay inside the park as the lodges and hotels close for the winter.
