When Do You Want To Go?
Indigo's owners come from Europe and Chile and when they opened their doors in 2006, their innovative and imaginative idea for the hotel was to draw guests into the communal areas so that they are encouraged to chat and meet new travellers. It is now owned by Noi Hotels, the first Chilean chain of trendy and stylish hotels, that offers a warm, personalised and inclusive service, coupled with high standards of technology and sustainability.
Hotel Indigo is an intimate hotel with just 23 rooms and 6 suites, located in the south of Chilean Patagonia in Puerto Natales, the gateway to the Torres del Paine National Park. The hotel sits among the beautiful Patagonian landscape, the mountains and the sea and is the ideal spot with beautiful views. The hotel was constructed using natural Patagonian woods and fine fabrics, which offers a great minimalist design. The hotel has very large windows that allow light to illuminate all the cosy little areas of the hotel.
Priority is given to the communal spaces and so the 29 guestrooms are of a smaller, simple and peaceful style where guests can retreat to after a long day of walking or sightseeing. There are no TVs in the rooms but the focus is on comfort and relaxation so the rooms are equipped with large cosy beds and the lighting is soft and subtle, creating a homely feel. The bathrooms have been integrated into the bedroom, separated with glass which gives a stylish but minimal look to the rooms.
There is a pleasant restaurant where you can sample some of the local Patagonian cuisine and also a spa where you can relax in the whirlpool or the sauna after a long day.
