Catuçaba in tupi-guarani means land of good people, and a stay here will connect you with a true local way of life.
It is a peaceful rural idyll situated amongst rolling hills where you can look forward to amazing, home grown food, including their own coffee and cachaça. Nothing here - no TV or internet - disturbs nature's peace.
The property's 450 hectares include an operational organic farm, rivers, lakes and expansive views from the mountaintops. The traditional 1850s casarão (main house) is the hotel's centre piece but the grounds contain eight deluxe rooms, two suites, two master villas and two rustic villas.
Additionally there are 2 casas de campo or traditional farmhouses set away from the main house. The Casa da Cachoeira consists of two rooms and a large covered terrace, located 100m from the farm next to a lovely waterfall, which keeps temperatures fresh during summer. The Casa do Lago is further away and more private. Its a gem from the 1840's, which has been refurbished with great care, preserving its old traditional style. It faces a large lake, wonderful for swims.
