Tupana Lodge is located 180Km South of Manaus in the Biological Reservation of Tupana River, an ecological paradise, rich in fauna and flora and a large variety of aquatic birds, mammals, fish and reptiles.
The transportation to the lodge begins with an adventure in the meeting of waters of Amazonas River (Called by locals: Solimões) and Negro River, running side by side. Then, 178 km of highway BR 319 which used to connect to the Transamazônica highway (this road used to link the Amazonas state with rest of Brazil, but it is now partially destroyed). During the way to Amazon Tupana Lodge, observe the rich landscape and great quantity of water lilies and birds.
Tupana Lodge offers simple accommodation but with plenty of charm and its rustic Amazon architecture is carefully planned to provide a comfortable stay with minimal impact on the environment. The lodge offers a restaurant with regional cuisine, bar, electric power between 12:00h - 15:00h and 18:00h - 08:00h and a fantastic experience completely immersed in the Amazon Rainforest. The lodge also has its own specialist guides who organise exploration of the surrounding rainforest and give you more detail on what you are seeing.
