When Do You Want To Go?
The Gala Tango Show offers all the luxurious services needed to enjoy a pleasant evening in style. It is close to Río Darsena Sur and to luxurious hotels like the Hilton, Hotel Faena and Hotel Madeo on the other side of the river. Buenos Aires is a prime location if you wish to discover this typical dance as it originated in the 1880s along the Río de la Plata, the natural border between Argentina and Uruguay. Tango has multiple influences and is the result of a combination of the German Waltz, Czech Polka, Polish Mazurka, and Bohemian Schottische with the Spanish-Cuban Habanera, African Candombe, and Argentinian Milonga.
Once you enter the Gala’s building, the architecture reveals its inspired French-style decoration from the 1930s. The room has a stage in the middle against the wall and a bar area at the end of it. The A la Carte combines a variety of elaborate dishes from the Chef, accompanied by a great selection of local wines. The Show is represented by an Orchestra, formed by a quintet which means it has a piano, accordion, 2 violins and a bass. A couple of tango singers and 4 couples of dancers perform on the stage for an elegant, warm and refined Folklore Gala Tango Show.
