Day 1:

Your cruise adventure starts in beautiful Bridgetown (Barbados) and departure is scheduled for 8PM. Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados and is a port city located on the island's southwest coast. This city has much to offer and it is easy to occupy a day here. Explore the city's beautiful British colonial architecture, the museums, shopping area, Browne's beach or even, the yacht club. Make sure to spend some time in the downtown area as it has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2012 for its historical significance. The Pelican Village is also a must-see where craftspeople create and sell locally made leather goods, batik, basketry, carvings, jewellery, glass art, paintings, pottery, and other items.

Day 2:

You will arrive in Scarborough early in the morning at around 8AM. Scarborough is a city in Trinidad and Tobago, on the southern coast of the island of Tobago. It is also just off the coast of Venezuela and acts as the perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax somewhere beautiful. Expect stunning scenery and unspoiled nature where the beauty of the light blue ocean alone, will meet all of your holiday expectations. Here you can do lots of outdoor activities or simply visit the town's most popular spots – Visit the Scarborough Market where vendors sell fresh produce and clothing; pop in at the Scarborough Botanical Gardens famous for its indigenous trees and shrubs; or head to the ruins of 18th-century Fort King George, now house to the Tobago Museum, which features local art and artefacts. The museum is located on a hill overlooking the city, so the views are breath taking.

Departure will be at 6PM.

Day 3:

Day at sea enroute to the Devil's Island in the French Guiana. There are lots of things to do on board, but it will be hard to do them all. The most important thing is to make sure that you enjoy some 'me time' and indulge as much as you can on the ship's first-rate onboard facilities. The activities on offer include language and dance classes, wine tasting or a matinee movie. You can also visit the designer boutiques, head to the library, or simply enjoy the sun by the pool.

Day 4:

At around 1PM you will arrive at the Devil's Island. As peculiar as its name may sound, don't be fooled, there is much to enjoy here and you will notice it right in the beginning of your visit. This key-shaped island of sharp rock and swaying palm trees was once home to one of the most infamous prisons of the 19th and 20th century. The most feared men were sent here to endure terrible punishments for their crimes. In 1938 the French government stopped sending prisoners to Devil's Island and in 1953 the prison was finally closed. What once was a place of fear and torture is now a spot for appreciating history as well as the simple beauty of pristine nature. Believe it or not, the island receives about 50,000 tourists each year.

Departure will be at 6PM.

Day 5:

Another day at sea but this time you will be heading to Macapa in Brazil. As you know the ship offers a wide range of onboard activities so this would be the perfect time to catch up on some of the ones you haven't tried yet. Remember that you have lots of activities on offer such as - language and dance classes, wine tasting or a matinee movie. You can also visit the designer boutiques, head to the library, or simply enjoy the sun by the pool. Don't forget to also enjoy the fantastic views at your disposal, after all, it's quite extraordinary to spend a day at sea.

Day 7:

Arrive at the small city of Santarem in Brazil (state of Pará) at 8AM. Here you can enjoy the fantastic waterfront, the breezy parks, the various restaurants and even more memorable sights. Santarem is very famous for its “meeting of the waters” as here the Tapajós River meets the Amazon.
Make sure to head to the hilltop Mirante do Tapajós Square where this phenomenon can be better admired. But this is not all that Santarem has to offer, you can visit the Museu Dica Frazão, where you will find textiles that Brazilian artist Dica Frazão crafts from natural materials; or head to floresta Nacional (FLONA) do Tapajós where you can try hiking, canoeing, wildlife spotting or simply paying a visit to local communities.

Day 8:

Next on this epic trip is Boca da Valeria in Brazil, where you will be arriving at 8AM. Located between Santarém and Manaus, Boca de Valeria is one of thousands of tiny settlements in the Amazon basin. It may be difficult to believe but here live about 75 people, that make their living solely from what the river gives. It's a great place to appreciate nature and the joy of the simple pleasures. You can go ashore and wander around through Boca Valeria's single-room school, the small church or the communal manioc farm. As the ship anchors, keep an eye out for all the canoes as the local population that comes out to meet the ship, providing you with the friendliest, most exciting Amazon experience.

Departure will be at 3PM.

Day 9 & 10:

You will arrive at Manaus, the capital of the Amazonas state, at 1PM and will stay overnight before heading back to sea.  Situated in north-western Brazil, Manaus, has a population of 1.8 million people, and lies 766Km west of Santarem. This city the Amazon's most popular tourist destination, and it is also known as colonial gem with fantastic sights that include spots such as - a leafy zoo with animals out of the cages as well as in them, or a beach-and-museum combo that gets you out of the city centre. Mostly, it is an urban delight right in the middle of the jungle.

Departure will be at 5PM.

Day 11:

Arrive at Parantins in Brazil at 11AM. This is small village is located on the east of the Amazonas sate, right in the Tupinambarana Island. Lots of tourists are attracted to this lovely village to witness its famous folklore festival - Boi-Bumba - which takes place in June and mainly is a passionate and mysterious ritual inspired by local legends. This festival itself is also a reflection of the Indian influences in Parantins, and depicts the rivalry between two ‘clans’, the Caprichoso (who dress all in blue), and Garantido (who dress in red). If you are wandering where does the festival take place, the answer is simple; at the Bumbódromo stadium, which was built in 1988 to accommodate the over 40,000 spectators that come every year.

Departure will be at 5PM.

Day 12:

You will arrive at Alter do Chao, in the Pará state, at 8AM. This is a truly beautiful part of the Amazon often referred to as the ' Caribbean of the Amazon'. Here you will see beautiful crystalline waters, white-sand beaches and an overall perfect place to relax and unwind. Alter do Chão is also very famous for its Ilha do Amor (Island of Love), a cute little island ringed by a white sand beach directly in front of town. If you would like to see a bit more than the beach side, head to Lago Verde, a beautiful lagoon home to incredible wildlife. Here you are also close to forest reserves, isolated communities, as well as one of the best indigenous art stores in the Amazon region. Even though this is quite a small and simple town with a very small number of restaurants and pousadas, when it comes to its inhabitants you will find a wide range of people, expect to find hippies, herbalists, healers, and so much more!

Departure will be at 1PM.

Day 13:

Please note the call to Macapa is for clearance by Brazilian authorities only. Guests will not be able to debark the ship during this time. Clearance will include a safety inspection, health inspection as well as immigration formalities. Depending on the complexity of the ship this can take several hours.

Arrival is scheduled for 11.30AM and departure for 1PM.

Day 14 & 15:

These two days will be your last spent at sea while on this cruise as you will be heading back to Bridgetown where this journey ends. Enjoy the views, indulge on the cruise's tasty food, relax, talk to new people, and make more incredible memories.  Remember that you still have lots of activities on offer that you can either try or repeat - language classes, dance classes, wine tasting, matinee movie, as well as visits to the designer boutiques, heading to the library, or simply enjoying the sun by the pool.

Day 16:

On the last day you will be back in Bridgetown (Barbados) by 8AM. As the city won't be new for you anymore, you can take some time to revisit your favourite places, or simply explore those spots you were not able to see at the beginning of this trip. When in doubt head downtown. This area is simply beautiful and as we mentioned before, it has also been named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2012 for its historical significance.
