When Do You Want To Go?

The Chonos Route Patagonia Cruise is a 5-day cruise in Northern Patagonia aboard the Skorpios II. 

The program sails on a Saturday from Puerto Montt and returns the following Thursday. throughout the Austral summer from mid-September to the last weekend of April. The cruise navigates through 800 nautical miles (1500 kilometers) of channels, archipelagos and fjords of Northern Chilean Patagonia.
The ship, the M/V Skorpios II, was completely remodelled in 2008 and offers 53 cabins spread over five decks, all with lower beds, plasma TV and a large private bathroom. All cabins have windows, except for those at Athens deck the ship's lowest deck.

Whilst you sail you will be able to enjoy the ships all-inclusive service, consisting of 4 meals a day, an open bar and all excursions. Safety jackets, bilingual lectures in English and Spanish and basic medical basic service are available onboard.

Highlights

  • Full day dedicated to visit lagoon and glacier San Rafael, including a half day excursion onboard special metal excursion boats.
  • Visit to the hot springs at Quitralco Fjord (private setting), where clients have a full day of free activities dedicated to enjoy the hot spring, walk in the paths cleared in the forest, take part of a boat excursion looking for sea lions, and share a Patagonian barbecue.  
  • Visit to the fishing village of Puerto Aguirre, and the towns of Quemchi and Dalcahue, in Chiloé island, to learn about the local culture and way of living.
  • Observation of Magellan penguins, dolphins, sea lions and cormorants, among other endemic and native species, at Conejo and Barrientos islands, and possible watching of blue and humpback whales in Corcovado Gulf (especially from November to March).
