When Do You Want To Go?
Experience the unspoilt Galápagos Islands and be at one with nature on the magnificent Samba. This impressive 14-passenger sailing vessel may not be the newest or most modern of the Galápagos fleet, however it makes up for its shortcomings with unrivalled itineraries, expert naturalist guides and first-class dining. The Samba spearheaded the green movement for ships which traverse the islands, and its exciting itineraries offer a mix of land and sea excursions which feature snorkelling 3 times per day and land excursions twice a day! Whether you wish to take in the picturesque northern and western isles, or the southern, eastern and central islands of Galápagos, we have an itinerary to suit your needs. All cruises on the Samba depart from Baltra, and depending on which trip you choose, you could be hiking to pirate caves, ancient statues and freshwater springs on Isla Floreana, diving with sea lions off James Bay on Santiago or photographing marine iguanas and flightless cormorants on Isla Fernandina!
On-board the Samba, meals are freshly prepared by one of the best chefs on the islands. Meats served are locally sourced from the Galápagos and fish is courtesy of local fishermen who use sustainable practices to avoid damaging the archipelago’s fragile marine eco-system. Dishes are a selection of delicious Ecuadorian and International cuisine to tempt all palates, plus if you have specific dietary requirements, they can be catered for if the ship is informed in advance. After dining, relax on the sun deck with a drink swapping tales with like-minded travellers or marvel at glorious Galápagos sunsets.
Accommodations on the Samba consist of 7 cabins - 6 on the lower deck and 1 on the upper deck. Cabins feature air conditioning for your comfort, a private bathroom with hot shower and décor is neutral with crisp white linens, creams and wood furnishings made from cedar.
