When Do You Want To Go?
There is no better way to explore the magical Galápagos Islands than to set sail on the Grace. This historic 18-passenger ship is steeped in rich history. The romantic, fully refurbished vessel dates to the 1920s and was once frequented by Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco who spent their honeymoon on board. The ship has hosted Winston Churchill twice, and it also served during World War II within the British Navy! The interior is elegant and timeless throughout, with superb facilities which you would expect from a legendary yacht such as the Grace. You can enjoy the experience of an expert naturalist guide as you cruise the archipelago, taking in either the north-central or south-central islands. Itineraries depart from either Baltra or San Cristóbal, and depending on which cruise you select, you could be exploring lush terrain and lava tunnels of Santa Cruz, discovering the whaling history of Post Office Bay or walking with marine iguanas on Isla Española!
A hearty buffet breakfast and lunches are served in the dining room, while gourmet dinners can be enjoyed alfresco whilst enjoying spectacular sunsets. Food is freshly prepared by some of the most accomplished chefs on the islands and dietary requirements are catered for if the ship is advised in advance. After dinner enjoy a glass of fine wine from a well-stocked cellar and head up to the jacuzzi to stargaze and observe twinkling lights of these enchanting islands.
Accommodations on board the Grace are sophisticated and elegant. If you are travelling for a celebratory occasion, why not book the Grace Kelly suite? Featuring interiors by an award-winning designer, the suite is in the same spot as Grace Kelly slept in the 1950s. There are two more master suites with queen beds, panoramic picture windows and teak interiors, or you can choose from twin suites or premium twin staterooms. Each are decorated to impeccable standards with private bathrooms, toiletries, air-conditioning and plenty of storage space.
