When Do You Want To Go?
Retrace the voyage of Charles Darwin and experience the majesty of the unspoilt Galápagos archipelago on board the Evolution - a romantic cruise ship, beautifully designed with an intimate atmosphere. The Galápagos Islands are home to some of the world’s rarest species of birdlife, mammals, marine and plant life, and you can discover them all on the Evolution. The ship offers a range of 8-day or 15-day itineraries taking in terrain and islands often unexplored by Galápagos ships. You could be following in the footsteps of scientists on Daphne Island, where you can hike to the crater rim to see magnificent frigate birds, masked boobies and short-eared owls, or spend time on North Seymour Island - home to rare Galápagos snakes and land iguanas. You’ll have chance to snorkel and swim with sea lions, penguins and white-tip reef sharks and even visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where giant tortoises are bred then released into the wild. Whether you’re interested in the nature, history or culture of the Galápagos islands, an Evolution cruise can show you them all. An expert naturalist can help you plan your daytime adventures, and when back on-board you can make use of kayaks, snorkelling and scuba equipment free of charge.
On-board guests of the Evolution can enjoy delicious local, regional and international cuisine freshly prepared by the ship’s chef. There’s a choice of indoor or alfresco dining, and 2 bars where you can sip a cocktail with like-minded travellers while admiring glorious Galápagos sunsets. While you are at sea heading for your next exciting island destination, entertain yourself with bird-watching, dolphin and whale spotting or read a book from the library while topping up your tan on one of two sundecks. Alternatively, head to the on-board boutique and pick up some clothing or souvenirs for friends and family back home!
Accommodation on the Evolution consists of 14 luxurious staterooms and 4 suites. Each are well-appointed and beautifully decorated, reminiscent of a 5-star land hotel. Rooms feature private bathrooms with hot showers, air-conditioning, safety deposit box and 110v electricity outlets.
