When Do You Want To Go?
Enjoy your Galápagos Island adventure on the Daphne - a superior yacht, which was fully refurbished in 2015. The first-class yacht boasts a range of facilities on board, plus there are a choice of itineraries to suit intrepid travellers. Choose from 8 days/7-night cruises or shorter 4 or 5-day itineraries which take in the beautiful western islands of Galápagos or the remote outlying northern and southern islands. On the western isles cruise, you will venture to Isla Isabela where you can walk alongside marine iguanas and wild tortoises in their natural habitat. In addition, snorkel through lava tunnels to spot white-tipped sharks, sea lions and giant rays on Santa Cruz, before stopping off at the Charles Darwin Research Station. If you opt to explore the northern and southern islands, you can learn all about Isla Floreana’s swashbuckling heritage, discover Isla Española’s blue-footed booby and sea lion colonies and gain incredible photographs of the coastline and birdlife from Prince Phillip’s Steps on Isla Genovesa. Passengers on the Daphne can also benefit from an on-board expert naturalist guide who can answer questions about the islands and advise on how to get the best from your magical Galápagos experience.
On-board the ship there’s a multitude of amenities to occupy and entertain as you cruise the archipelago. Delicious regional and international cuisine is served in the ship’s dining area, and there’s a well-stocked bar and lounge with a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks where you can share stories with new-found friends. Whilst cruising, take advantage of the loungers on the sun deck to top up your tan and spend time dolphin or bird watching as you relax. If you wish to explore subterranean wonders from the ship, snorkels and wetsuits are available, or if you simply wish to unwind after a hectic day of sightseeing, there is a library, TV and DVD in the communal living area.
Daphne offers accommodation for 16 passengers, consisting of 4 lower deck double occupancy cabins with portholes, and 4 upper deck cabins with bunk beds and ocean views. Each cabin is well-appointed, containing everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Rooms are en-suite with hot water and fully air-conditioned for your comfort.
