The Hebridean Sky underwent a ten-million-dollar refit in 2016 transforming her into the safest and most comfortable ship in her class. Formerly known as the Sea Explorer, she has always been known for her effortless elegance, impeccable service and atmosphere of charm and camaraderie. Hebridean Sky continues that tradition, while adding a host of new amenities, state of the art stabilization, improved fuel efficiency and upgraded communications systems.
Public areas include a panorama lounge, library, lounge with audio-visual facilities, wraparound sun deck, elevator serving all passenger decks and a small exercise room. There is plenty of space to relax on-board of the ship and a range of observation areas for guests to fully admire the beauty of Antarctica. Great expeditions require great food and the team of chefs offer breakfast, lunch and dinner menus that change daily They have boat-loads of creativity, so you are sure to experience a variety of delicious cuisine throughout your voyage.
With a capacity of 114 passengers, the ship offers six different categories of suite accommodation. All suites are spacious and elegantly designed, with premium appointments throughout. Each suite features a sitting area, private marble-appointed bathroom and toiletries, porthole or window with outside views and twin beds that, can be joined to form a queen-size bed. Several Suites include private balconies accessed via a sliding door. Triple cabins feature a sofa bed.
