Antarctica was the real highlight, exceptional experience, travelling with Quark recommended by Martin Johnson, Latin Routes, turned out to be better and more than exspected. Sea Spirit turned out to be everything we could possibly expect, exceptionally dedicated and expert expedition staff with probably the best expedition leader we have ever come across, we were kept so busy with landings, cruising, lectures etc. that we at the end yawned for time to do nothing, completely exhausted.

Travelling in Argentina is a bit of a challenge and we had our share of issues, however, Latin Routes were at hand whenever needed and got us sorted out. Never an issue with the actual plan, but local issues such as delayed departures some of which Latin Routes had anticipated in advance, excellent.

Iguazu Falls is a sight to behold, Argentine side much better than the Brazil side, however both is a jmust if you travel so far. Sheraton in the National Park is the place to stay if you go there. Brazil boat rides much better than the Argentine side. Going to the 3 Nation point where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet well worth seeing on your way to the airport.

The Best Tour Operator we have ever travelled with

We have been very lucky and have travelled to many exotic and different world wide destinations and have used a variety of Tour operators or travelled independently. We found Latin Routes to be the best. Even though we have been to Argentina on 2 separate occasions in the past we decided to use Latin Routes having come across them on the web. We wanted to show my husbands brother and his wife the best that Argentina had to offer and Latin Routes helped us make sure that this was a memorable trip for ourselves as well as for them too.

The service that we received and the attention to detail was faultless. Jessica Bain and her team could not have been more helpful and not in a pushy way at all. Jessica kept us up to date with various aspects of our hand picked itinerary from every aspect. We knew that we could call on Jessica personally at any time of the day or night if we had any problems during our trip and there isn't many tour operators that you can do that with! Not that we had need to get in contact with her!

I have not put much detail into this review as to where we stayed as I think Jessica puts much thought into the individuals personal requirements so you can trust her to come up with the perfect itinerary to suit you best too, so feel it irrelevant to go through more specifics. I booked a trip with Latin Routes for a holiday in March and would highly recommend using them. I used Latin Routes to book my flights to Brazil last month. They were quick to find me competitive prices and I received various travel options which enabled me to plan my journey more effectively as my destination did not offer direct flights. Following the good service I receieved from Latin Routes for my flights to Brazil, I asked them to help me with my search for a hotel as I needed somewhere to stay during my trip. Argentina- A Latin Experience to treasure

We wanted a holiday that gave us the freedom to do what WE wanted but also wanted to cheat a little and have our hands held. From the start Latin Routes listened to where we wanted to visit in Argentina, the type of hotels we wanted to stay in and how we wanted to travel within Argentina. They then pulled together an intinerary which we worked through together with some changes from us and further suggestions from them.

We had the most fantastic holiday, visiting Buenos Airies , Igazu Falls, Cordoba and Mendoza. We travelled by plane and an overnight bus which contrary to my fears turned about to be what will be my preferred way to travel on my next visit to South America- luxurious and relaxing. We were met at the airport by a charming lady from Argentina who took us to our hotel, telling us all about the history of Argentina, where we should eat and the local customs. She then picked us up the next morning for a private tour of the city, something else I would also recommend. My biggest fear was that if anything went wrong we would not be able to sort things out by ourselves but when we arrived at the hotel there was a welcome letter from Latin Routes with local numbers to ring and local information to help us to settle in.

The experience that the people at Latin Routes bring to a holiday shows in the itinerary that they pull together because when you ask for something they give you what you asked for and know from their travels that this is what you will get. One regret, that I didn't stay longer but you can bet I will be back to South America soon and the only place I would go to arrange my next holiday is Latin Routes.

Fabulous Service and Super knowledgeable

I have booked a couple of trips with Latin Routes and each time they have been outstanding. Service is second to none, I have never had to wait more than a day for a response to even the most difficult enquiry. Super efficient and friendly

I first used Latin Routes to book flights to Buenos Aires in August 2012. Their service was excellent: they looked at many different options to find the BA flight that suited me best even though this involved changing the departure date at the last minute.

In addition, they found a special deal to upgrade to Premium Economy for a small amount; and I think this was instrumental in getting a free upgrade to World Traveller on the trip across the Atlantic. This was really fantastic as I needed a good nights horizontal sleep before a two-day non-stop conference.

Because of their efficiency in organising my flight to Latin America I’m happy to happy to arrange flights elsewhere with them too – the next trip to the USA, for example – also with Premium Economy upgrade.

Prompt, Efficient and Friendly

Only at the booking stage but highly delighted at the speed of response and the efficient way Latin routes has gone about the process. Knowing what I wanted to do - but not sure how to do it was not an issue as Latin Routes offered a number of suggestions for me to consider. Easy and simple reading and Martin was easy to talk to. Thanks Latin Routes for helping us have the honeymoon of a lifetime!! We received a personalized service from the early stages of planning our trip through to the end of our holiday and to me that made such a difference.

Latin Routes were able to recommend areas to stay in, areas to avoid and it did not come from an out dated travel guide, it came from first-hand experience. The hotels we were recommended by Latin Routes hit our requirements spot on, we preferred to stay in more ‘boutique’ style hotels rather than the chain hotels and would likely not even have known the hotels we stayed in existed if it was not for Latin Routes recommendations.

You will have access to a 24 hour emergency contact (who picks up the phone 24 hours a day and you do not end up with a voicemail)...we had to use the emergence contact on our trip and the level of support was nothing beyond fantastic.

We would thoroughly recommend Latin Routes to anyone planning a trip to Argentina. We dealt with Martin Johnson and throughout he took a personal interest in our holiday and conveyed his own enthusiasm about the country, while managing the booking in a totally professional manner. Lucky meeting at Earls Court 2013

I was planning a trip to S.America and got chatting to Martin Johnson of Latin Routes at the Travel Show. His gentle, non-pushy but knowledgeable responses led to a swift initial itinerary sent within days. I decided that the initial suggestions were too weighted to Argentina and the Antartic and so he listened to my suggestions and prepared a second itinerary with this in mind. Even then, I wanted to explore one or two other areas and he willingly tweeked and produced a third and final itinerary which excited both me and him! The result is a trip of a lifetime at a reasonable cost. At all times, Martin listened to my requests, made changes, paring costs when asked without reducing the quality package. Of course, I still have to experience the trip in 11 months time, so watch this space. But, if you are travelling alone and want a sympathetic agent, look no further.

Fantastic trip well organised
